All in all, we are a team of 35 , running four different departments, and Colossal Films is just one of the big four.
Trust us when we say this, we’re in this for life. What people thought was a crazy idea has now manifested itself into a collective we’re proud to call our own. With so many individuals passionate & loyal to the Colossal brand & its reputation, we do our best to uphold a high level of professionalism and finesse on a daily basis, making sure we photograph your wedding well, provide the beautifully edited photos on time, and give you the best possible customer experience with us.
We’re constantly changing our processes and methods and always experimenting to see what works and what does not. Here’s our take; you are definitely different, and may want a different take on things. We do everything we can to avoid creating a cookie cutter experience, and focus our entire efforts on making the experience as personalized as possible.

Afiq Omar is a Singaporean photographer, filmmaker, internationally featured artist and creative entrepreneur. As the founder of Colossal Productions- a collective specializing in nightlife, corporate and wedding photography in Asia, Afiq tirelessly threads the balance between being an artist and a business leader. His distinctive visual style exudes warmth and honesty; a testament to his obsession with documenting genuine emotions and the truthful stories behind his subjects.
With an easy-going personality and relentless passion, Afiq has a reverence for empowering as many people as possible through his visual craft, and has made it his lifelong mission to help both fellow creatives and the clients through his craft.Growing up, Afiq was always drawn to the visual arts and believed in being a catalyst for change through the visual medium. He earned a Diploma in Mass Communication from Ngee Ann Polytechnic and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communication from Nanyang Technological University.
As a documentarian and filmmaker, Afiq's films have been featured in various international Southeast Asian film festivals, namely, the Singapore Indie Documentary Festival and the International Short Film Festival. His visual art film 'Ferroux' was displayed at New York City's Times Square for CEMUSA, featured on renowned culture magazine VICE, screened at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival (for Flying Lotus) and listed on the prestigious Vimeo Staff Picks.
Afiq has also been commissioned for documentary-photography work in Laos, Thailand and India, working hand in hand with researchers to document the introduction of Biogas reactors in slums, for the improvement of wastewater management & the community.

Axel Serik developed an interest in photography from his humble iPhone, drawing inspiration from a spectrum of portrait, wedding and music photography. His interest in photography eventually grew until he saw the need to invest in a DSLR camera.
To date, he has not looked back; his photography accurately encapsulates the raw emotions and beauty of people, concerts, sights, and weddings. A purposeful wanderer at heart, he brings out the beauty in the most mundane and vacuous things.
Having been an established musician in the local scene - Sphaeras, Navire Creux - traces of his musical influence can be found in his aesthetic, especially music photography. Axel’s photography have been praised by many fellow photographers and musicians as innovative and profound
